Habilitation Habilitation Exam

Please submit the documents listed below electronically in PDF-format to dekanat@verkult.uni-heidelberg.de
Additionally, please submit four hard copies of your habilitation thesis via post (in-house mail is also possible) to the dean's office (habilitation office) using the following adress:

Please note: habilitation theses cannot be dropped directly into the mailbox outside of the dean's office.

Please also note that only complete applications can be processed. Please allocate numbers to the individual documents as follows:

1. form: application for admission to the habilitation exam (available in German in the download area)
2. form: declaration 1 oder form: declaration 2 (available in German in the download area)
3. CV which showcases your scientific career / development
4. complete list of publications
5. form: overview of taught courses (available in German in the download area)
6. teaching evaluations from students
7. form: proposed assessors (available in German in the download area)
8. habilitation thesis (hardcopy: four printed copies). Please note: the content and formatting of the printed and electronic versions have to be exactly the same.
   If the habilitation thesis is cumulative, it has to contain the encapsulating framework as well as all the papers.
9. short abstracts for the three presentation topics (approximately one page including references per topic). The topics should not significantly overlap and they should not derive from the topic of the habilitation thesis.
